INGREDIENTS
- 2 x Cleaver’s Organic & Grass Fed Beef Scotch Fillet Steaks
- 2 large potatoes
- 3 tbsp milk
- 30g butter or margarine
- Pinch of salt
- Salt & pepper to season
METHOD
- Bring steak to room temperature
- Preheat pan or BBQ to hot
- Drizzle steak with oil and season with salt and pepper
- Cook for 3.5 minutes on each side for medium well
- Rest for 5 minutes
- Peel and chop the potatoes, add to boiling salted water until just soft
- Drain the water then put the potatoes back on the stove top, this time on low heat
- Add the margarine and quickly mash the potatoes, beat in the milk (add more if needed), then remove from the heat
- Cook broccolini in a covered dish with 1 tablespoon of water for 2 minutes in microwave
- Serve steak with broccolini and mashed potato
